Our House Icon - Don Stafford

The name of our class is derived from our House icon, Don Stafford. He is a famous historian from Rotorua and is highly esteemed by the Te Arawa people. Don Stafford carries with him the history and legends of the Maori people from Te Arawa. Hopefully he will be able to visit us throughout the year, so we can learn from the expert.

Introduction

Kia Ora and Welcome to Stafford 4. My name is Whaea June and I am the lucky teacher of this wonderful class. Attached to this blog is a graduation photo from 2009. My son Te Toiroa led the haka while I was receiving my Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching. He was supported by the boys from Tamatoa 2009. I am looking forward to meeting the class of Stafford 4, 2010.
